  Crewing and manning policy for KEM-offshore.
The Vessels from KEM-offshore shall always be manned in such a way, so they are capable to acquire the requirements from the flag states, classification societies and other interests.

Safety policy
It is our intention to show a safe and sensible conduct, where all the available safety equipment must be used.

Environmental protection policy
At KEM-Offshore, all operations, repairs and maintenance must be carried out in such a way, so there is taken mostly precautions to take care of the environment and to avoid pollution of the environment. It is a part of the daily routines, to reduce the use of for an example paper, packing, electricity and fuel.

Maintenance policy
At KEM-Offshore all the equipment must be maintained, so it lives up to all standards and requirements, which is set from authorities, manufactures and suppliers. In the daily maintenance system, there are used products, which is the most environmentally friendly for the actual maintenance job.

The policy for transport of passengers and cargo in KEM-Offshore.
At KEM-Offshore shall we transport passengers and cargo, fully safely to the ordered destination. Good seamanship is a part that has high priority.

Working environmental policy.
It is the policy at KEM-Offshore, to plan the normal day, to avoid unsafe acts and personal injuries. In the normal must all available protection equipment is used. Our motto is: “It is better to use 5 minutes more, than to pass off”. We are taking much care of the psychological working environment, so everybody is feeling welcome and feeling at home.

Drug and alcohol policy.
It is strictly forbidden to enjoy alcohol and other kinds of drugs on board in the KEM-Offshore vessels. Contravention of the policy is causing promptly dismissal.

Smoking policy.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on the office, and in the accommodation on board the vessels, because KEM-Offshore is going for a healthy climate inside.

Media policy.
In KEM-Offshore, all press related matters managed by Knud Erik Møller or Ole de Groot. There are no else in KEM-Offshore, who are making statements to medias.

Policy for preparedness.
It is the policy for KEM-Offshore, that there shall be a high preparedness, so when a critical situation is happening, it can be cleared without complications and accidents. Therefore there has to be kept drills on board, with a maximum interval on one month, and it has to be reported to the company. The drill has to be as realistic as possible and as the surroundings is allowing, so a good and proper routine is worked up.
